As a Global Airline Bid Manager, you will work hand in hand with the sales team on bids for global transportation tender contracts for our clients. The tender process is complex and time-consuming, requiring strong planning skills and strategic thinking. Each tender is unique, demanding flexibility and a commercial mindset. You will be the primary contact for suppliers, using your communication and analytical skills to build long-term relationships. You (Get-)excited from the following responsibilities:
- Supplier Relationship Management: Profile, network, onboard, and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Contracting & Negotiation: Engage in effective contracting and negotiation processes to ensure favorable terms.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct capacity and availability checks, and report on client feedback, NPS scores, and financial performance.
- Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with the sales team to craft winning bids for global transportation contracts.
- Project Implementation: Act as the central link between sales and operations to ensure successful project execution.
